About the game

Twelve Sky 3 is a PC martial-arts MMORPG from BacN Network Technology, a Hong Kong studio. It's the third entry in a line that goes back to 2008 with Twelve Sky 2, the Korean MMO still running today, and it keeps the same backbone: three warring factions and nine classes split among them.

The loop is old-school. You level by killing monsters, gear drops from them, and territory gets settled between factions, with open war as the world's normal state. Layered on top is meridian cultivation, which unlocks around a hundred combat skills.

What changed since Twelve Sky 2

The jump is mostly presentational: SpeedTree vegetation, reworked lighting and shadows, and a rebuilt UI and world map. There's also an appearance layer that separates how your character looks from the gear actually equipped, plus spirit pets, mounts and downtime activities like fishing.

What you pay for

Free-to-play with an item shop, as the operator describes it, and the client ships a point top-up system that was already running during testing. The official line is that gear drops from monsters and the shop sells mostly outfits and convenience. With no published price list and no Steam release, there's no public reference for what any of it costs.

Where it stands

It has been live in Korea since February 21, 2025, after the October 2024 announcement of its Korean launch and a closed beta that December. BacN publishes no patch notes, roadmap or player numbers, and the game's day-to-day life runs through its Naver cafe, a Discord and its Facebook page.

No Western servers have been announced, and a separate Chinese operation of the same title runs under a different company. It works for anyone after wuxia faction PvP who doesn't mind playing in Korean from outside the region. Anyone who wants a Western community, or just to know what gets patched and when, won't find it here.
