About the game

Palworld Online is the mobile take on Palworld, Pocketpair's breakout survival-and-creature-collecting hit. Garena develops and publishes it under an official license, targeting iOS and Android in 2026. The key thing to understand is that it isn't a port of the PC and console game: it takes the formula of catching, raising, and automating Pals, and reworks it into a shared open-world MMORPG built from the ground up for touchscreens.

What sets it apart from the original Palworld

PC Palworld is a survival game you can play solo or with friends on private servers. This version makes a fundamental shift: it offers an interconnected, persistent world where you run into other players, visit their settlements, and share the space. It also adds an original storyline and exclusive side quests you won't find in the base game, so it's not simply "the same Palworld on your phone" but a parallel entry with its own content.

How it plays

The core loop stays true to the brand: you explore an open world catching and raising Pals —including rare variants—, build bases, and put your creatures to work automating production and defense while you keep exploring. On top of that, the social layer is the heart of the pitch.

You can form parties for PvE, take on large-scale world bosses designed for many players at once, and test yourself in PvP combat. The controls are rebuilt for mobile with one-tap options for building, relocating structures, and deploying Pals, aiming to keep management from becoming a chore on a touchscreen.

Current status

The game is in development. Garena unveiled it alongside Pocketpair for a 2026 launch, but with no set date and no pre-registration or beta confirmed so far; Garena itself has said dates and regions will be announced later through its official channels. The reveal leaned on promotional art —which already teases a brand-new Pal— and no real gameplay has been shown yet, so much of how it will actually feel remains unconfirmed. It's also worth being clear that this is a separate project from the Palworld Mobile that Krafton is making: two different games that often get mixed up.

The business model is still an open question

Garena hasn't confirmed how it will monetize the game; Pocketpair has only said more monetization details will come later. As a Garena-published mobile MMORPG, the likeliest shape is a Free to Play model with in-app purchases and the usual progression systems from its catalog, but that's an assumption, not a fact. One important caveat: the original Palworld on PC and console has no microtransactions, so you can't assume this version will work the same way. Until Garena publishes details on pricing, store, and editions, the real model is an unknown.

Who is it for?

It's aimed at anyone who wants the Palworld experience on mobile but with a social twist: creature collectors, players who enjoy building and automating, and above all people looking for a shared world with co-op, world bosses, and PvP. Honestly, right now it's more of a promise than a product you can evaluate: with no gameplay in sight, no firm date, and no confirmed business model, it's worth approaching with caution. If it interests you, the sensible move is to follow it closely and wait for Garena to show how it plays and what it charges before setting strong expectations.
