Silver Palace
About the game
Silver Palace is an open-world ARPG that casts you as a detective in Silvernia, a Victorian-styled metropolis that industrialised in a hurry around a newly discovered element called Silverium. Silver Studio builds it in Unreal Engine 5 with anime art direction, and Elementa publishes it worldwide on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android.
Detective work and combat
The game splits its time between fighting and actually investigating: combing crime scenes, piecing evidence together with tools like the Mind Palace, interrogating suspects or taking them down quietly. Silvernia is built out of grand estates, gaslit alleys and the conspiracies that link them.
Combat is real-time and lets you swap between party members instantly, with parries, melee and ranged options. Getting around means winged horses, grappling wires and free-running across the rooftops. The protagonist can be male or female, your choice.
Where it stands
It was announced in May 2025 with a gameplay showcase, and two closed betas have run since: Monotype, from 13 to 18 January 2026, and Dichotomy, from 23 July to 13 August 2026, the latter on Windows PC only, restricted to players over 18, with all data wiped at the end.
Dichotomy was the biggest test so far: it made the male protagonist playable for the first time, opened new districts, extended the main story and reached 15 playable characters (8 of them debuts), with roughly 40 hours of content according to the team. A third test is on the table, with access through a survey for current participants, and a playable demo is touring seven conventions during 2026. The official site still announces no release window.
What you pay for, and what nobody has said yet
It is free to play, though Elementa has published no monetisation breakdown: no prices, editions, battle pass or pity rates have been announced. The character gacha most coverage takes for granted is not confirmed by the publisher, and both betas ran without in-app purchases or summon banners, with every piece of test content available at no cost.
It suits players who want an open world where investigation carries as much weight as combat, with a party of characters and anime styling. Everything else is still missing: no date, no window, no Steam page, no fine print on the free-to-play side. With 4 million pre-registrations worldwide (over 1.21 million of them on TapTap China) the interest is there, but the only way to play it today is getting into a closed test.
