Curse of Ula'tek is live: Coiled Isle opens today, Season 2 waits until the 18th

The patch landed on schedule in World of Warcraft: Midnight with Coiled Isle, three new delves, the Altar of Fangs dungeon at Mythic 0 and housing blueprints. The raid, Mythic+ and the Prey season wait until August 18.
Patch 12.1: Curse of Ula'tek is live in World of Warcraft: Midnight. Blizzard kept the calendar it set at the end of July: the patch opened today, August 11 (the 12th in Europe), while Season 2 still waits until the 18th. That gap is worth understanding before logging in.
What you can play right now is Coiled Isle, the zone east of Zul'Aman: the Vaults of Atal'Utek with rotating public events, Curse Surges that spawn rare elites across five shifting locations, cursed fishing that unlocks once those elites go down, and a zone talent tree with its own power perks.
Three Delves open as well (The Ring of Glory, Gnarldor Isle and the Venomfall Deeps Nemesis delve), plus the three-boss Altar of Fangs dungeon, which runs at Mythic 0 only until the 18th. Lairs, the new instanced world bosses, scale from 15 to 25 players.
The other half of the patch is the house. Blueprints save a single room, the interior, the exterior or the whole home —up to 50 slots plus 10 auto-saves— and export as a code you can paste into chat for someone else to import. Export permission defaults to "no one"; the specifics are in the housing announcement.
Pet beds put non-combat companions inside the house: 100 indoors, 25 outdoors, eight models at 50 gold each from vendors in Founder's Point and Razorwind Shores. Indoor pets can be set to roam; outdoor ones stay put for now. Houses also climb to level 12.
What did not arrive today: the eight-boss raid The Venomous Abyss, with Ula'tek as the final encounter, the Mythic+ rotation, Prey Season 2 with new affixes and Coiled Isle hunts, and the PvP season. All of it lands on the 18th.
