Argentum Online moves dungeons and NPCs around to break up camping

The August 14 patch relocates the Dungeon Dragon +31 entrance, adds teleports and corridors to break up camping, and gathers the early-level quests in Forgat.

Argentum Online's August 14 update is about something unglamorous and very concrete: moving things around. The patch relocates dungeon entrances, quest NPCs and internal routes with two goals in mind — keeping level brackets apart and breaking up the camping spots at chokepoints.

The entrance to Dungeon Dragon +31 now sits on Dragon Island (map 134), between Banderbill and Arkhein, so level 31+ characters stop sharing ground with level 20s. Inside, the Red Dragon no longer casts spells on players.

Against camping, Dungeon Veriil gets teleports meant to spread movement out, while Catacombs II and Dungeon Marabel get new entrances and corridors. Dungeon Tortuga takes the blunt route: NPC locks at the entrances and exits so nobody can picket them.

The other half of the patch aims at new characters. In Forgat, the NPC Hollister now hands out the starting spell quests that used to require a trip to Banderbill and Arghal, and Makrom (map 507) offers a new six-quest chain for levels 1 to 13. Quest NPCs also carry the quest they hold in their name.

On the balance side, the miner Durgan sells the Trap, which works only against NPCs and holds them for 60 seconds; Worker, Hunter and Warrior can use it. A server fix corrects that paralysis, which was lasting around 2.3 real seconds instead of the 15 the config asked for. Druids and bards also need their tier 2 magic instrument now to cast their heaviest spells, Apocalypse among them.

Two requirements came down as well: the Worker's elemental weapon quests move from level 28 to 25, and entry to Dungeon Tortuga from 27 to 25. And the golden, red and black dragons now carry a 0.01% chance to drop Dragon Armor, a skin any class can wear.
