EverQuest Legends patches on August 18: group XP, a resizable cursor, and a boar in the shop

The next patch lands on Tuesday the 18th with a group XP bonus, UI scaling in 0.25 increments, and the Bristly Boar mount hitting the Marketplace. No price announced yet.
EverQuest Legends gets its next patch on Tuesday, August 18, and three of the changes show up the moment you log in: a group experience bonus, more UI scaling options, and a new mount in the shop. The game opened its servers on July 28 and has been patching steadily ever since.
The group bonus is small, and it arrives as a fix rather than a feature: grouped characters will finally get the extra experience that was supposed to be there all along. Game Jawn hasn't published the number.
On the interface side, the patch adds more scaling options in 0.25 increments, plus the long-requested ability to make the mouse cursor bigger. That reads like a footnote until you remember this is a reimagining of a 1999 MMORPG, and it inherited plenty of 1999 friction.
The other substantial change is a Mistmoore Castle pass: guaranteed named spawns, reworked loot with more motes of potential and better gear, and less aggressive mobs during daytime hours.
The mount is a boar, the Bristly Boar, and it hits the in-game Marketplace the same day. Per the official announcement, it moves at roughly the speed of Spirit of the Wolf and Jboots, and it matches the speed of the fastest mount your character has already unlocked. No price yet.
