Dragonwilds lands on Game Pass on day one, and PS Plus matches it

Jagex has confirmed RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be on Xbox Game Pass from day one on September 15, with the PS5 version joining PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium the same day. Switch 2 gets no subscription deal, just the digital standard edition.
Jagex has confirmed that RuneScape: Dragonwilds hits Xbox Game Pass the day it launches: September 15, the same date the game leaves early access and reaches consoles for the first time. Anyone already paying for the subscription on Xbox Series X|S won't need to buy it separately.
PlayStation gets its own version of the deal: the PS5 edition is included from day one in PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Nintendo Switch 2 sits out the subscription round entirely and gets only the digital standard edition, also on September 15.
On PC the game arrives via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Jagex launcher, in standard and deluxe editions. Physical standard and deluxe copies come later, in Q4 2026, and only for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The announcement lists no prices.
The RuneScape franchise had never appeared on a console in its 25 years, and Jagex is making that debut with both big subscription catalogues behind it. The studio counts over one million players across the PC early access run.
Still unpublished: what each edition costs, and what separates the deluxe from the standard.
