Pantheon wipes PTR characters again to reach the player market with clean data

Visionary Realms has wiped Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen's PTR characters again, this time to reach the player market with clean data. The patch also reworks level 14-36 weapons and turns on masteries for eight classes.
Visionary Realms has published the August 19 PTR patch notes for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, and they come with another character wipe. The reason this time is the Player Market, the player-to-player trading system the studio is finishing up for testing: they want economy data from zero.
So testers don't start over at level 1 there's a level boost NPC, though it's capped at level 20 for now because the team still wants feedback on early-level itemization. What they're asking people to test is combat from 1 to 50 and loot across level 10-40 content.
Itemization took up most of the patch. Melee weapons from level 14 to 36 have updated stats at uncommon quality and above, shields and held items were rebalanced, and Spellgauntlets are now in the loot tables. Uncommon two-handed weapons no longer carry a block bonus, martial staves aside.
On the class side, the patch turns on mastery options for eight of them, including Warrior, Cleric, Druid, Wizard and Enchanter; the Enchanter's showed up in a first pass back in July, alongside the level 50 cap. The individual fixes follow that thread: the Wizard's Eruption now requires a prior critical hit with Blade of the Cataclysm, and the Enchanter's animated weapons finally deal damage once summoned.
Away from combat, the in-game mail system got stability work and pets can now follow in defensive mode via shift-click or the /petfollow defensive command. When the market actually goes live on the PTR, the studio didn't say.
