Monsters & Memories adds high-level dungeons and class tweaks before October 1

The old-school MMORPG confirms its early access is still set for October 1 and previews this week's patch: two new dungeons, three raid bosses and a first pass at the player camera.

The Monsters & Memories team confirmed that early access is still on for October 1 and detailed what the next beta patch brings. It lands this Thursday after slipping a day, and only one more beta patch follows it: the studio plans a final one in early September, right before launch.

The bulk of it is high-level content, which the studio frames as "wrapping up a few things" before launch. Two dungeons arrive, Rothold (levels 30-45) and Fallen Watch (45-60+), along with three raid bosses: Bone Construct, Lord Ga'Duuz and Pustalux.

On the class side, Inquisitor and Shaman get new spells and abilities to learn up to your current level. Cleric, Monk and Fighter are getting changes too, and the team mentions "a couple of things" for Rogue and Druid without saying what. The Cleric, Fighter and Monk deep dives went up on August 5.

The patch also includes a first pass at the default player camera, with adjustment options only arriving next month, plus new recipes at several tradeskill vendors. The fine print lands with the patch notes, which the studio posts on deploy day.

That early access date has already moved once: in April the team pushed it from June 1 to October 1 to buy time on performance, systems and content polish.
