Pantheon Raises the PTR Level Cap to 50 and Debuts the Enchanter Mastery

Visionary Realms pushed the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen PTR level cap to 50 and added a first pass at the Enchanter mastery, alongside class fixes for the likes of the Wizard.

The Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen test server took a meaningful step this week: Visionary Realms raised the PTR level cap to 50, a change that for the first time lets players sample what the studio calls a version of the full leveling journey. It's no small thing for an MMORPG that has been building in public for years, and it opens the door to seeing how classes and masteries feel across the entire ride.

The patch arrived with a character wipe, so everyone starts fresh. To avoid forcing players to grind the whole path by hand, support NPCs in the starting areas now offer a boost to level 40 with basic gear sets, meant to let testers jump straight into the upper stretch and help polish exactly what wasn't reachable before.

The Enchanter mastery, in its first pass

The most talked-about class addition is the first implementation of the Enchanter mastery. The studio is upfront that this is an early version, with placeholders and future work to come, and is asking for broad feedback on how it plays. It's the usual PTR logic: ship the rough piece so the community can stress it before it lands polished in the game.

On the fixes side, several Wizard abilities got corrections to casting issues and damage values. The rest of the patch is, in the team's words, not that extensive, with the focus on tuning classes. There are quality-of-life touches too: animal NPCs now give a warning before stunning the player, and elevator hazards in Wild's End were fixed.

With the cap at 50, Visionary Realms wants concrete answers on three fronts: combat progression from level 1 to 50, the solo and group experience, and how the various masteries behave. Anyone who wants the full rundown of every change can read the PTR patch notes published by the studio.
