Blade & Soul NEO shuts down two activities on August 18: what to cash in first
The August 18 maintenance removes the Wyvern Fragment exchange and closes the Tower of Reincarnation. In its place comes Darkstorm Training Grounds, a solo dungeon from the Ruler of the Land collaboration.
NCSOFT has published the fine print of REIGNITED: before the new content arrives, two activities go dark. The update was already confirmed for August 18, and that day's maintenance takes the Wyvern Fragment exchange and the Tower of Reincarnation with it.
The Wyvern Fragment exchange list disappears from the Dragon Express during that maintenance, according to the notice posted on Steam. Fragments left sitting in your bags have no other announced use: the studio mentioned no conversion and no compensation, so the time to spend them is now.
The Tower of Reincarnation closes on the same day. NCSOFT asks players to finish any pending challenges and claim every reward before the cut-off, and announced no grace period afterwards.
Taking its place is Darkstorm Training Grounds, a solo dungeon arriving as part of the Ruler of the Land collaboration, the same one adding cosmetics and a new boss to the patch. Nothing else about the dungeon is public yet: no rewards, no level requirements.
The rest of REIGNITED — the Warden class, the boosted server and the Poharan dungeon with equalized gear — is still set for August 18 on Steam and PURPLE. The maintenance window has yet to be published.
