Mortal Online 2 patches up Sarducaa and hides a new material in the desert

Patch 3.0.0.106 starts making good on the Sarducaa promises: connection and performance fixes, wider fishing, and a new material Star Vault won't name.
Star Vault shipped patch 3.0.0.106 for Mortal Online 2 on August 12, the first one to start clearing the list of fixes the studio promised for Sarducaa. The desert continent has been live since July 1 and had been dragging performance problems along with it.
The only genuinely new thing is a new material obtainable on Sarducaa. Star Vault doesn't say which: the patch notes confirm it's there and leave the finding to players. Fishing grew too, with more fish variety across the continent, lines allowed in oases and small ponds, and the missing vendor at the Khwar Migdal docks.
Most of the patch is repair work. Star Vault fixed client connection drops at login, the loading screen that stranded players leaving Haven, lag during discoveries and the resending of outdated network packets. On top of that come collision, texture and floating-object passes over Pash, Belrim, Beth Jedda and Aur.
On balance, the patch goes after grind: experience requirements for Herbology, Herbalism and Herbologium Expertise were rebalanced, and extracting a single unit no longer hands out experience. The Golden Hammer drop chance went up, and butchering a Golden Danaburnu now yields a different amount of Pansar Carapace.
Several of these were already flagged in the August 6 Into the Vault, where the studio also mentioned bringing the hunting taskmaster back and fixing some of the new AI. Next up, it says, are content additions for Sarducaa; there's no date and no detail yet.
