RuneScape shows off the first relics of Leagues II: Equilibrium

Jagex has begun revealing the relics for Leagues II: Equilibrium, RuneScape's seasonal mode that kicks off on August 10th with a fresh character and builds shaped by these powers.

Leagues II: Equilibrium finally has a date —August 10th— and Jagex has started pulling back the curtain on what really defines every season of Leagues: the relics. The studio confirmed the first tier of powers, and as always, they're wild enough to completely rethink how you play RuneScape for the length of the event.

What Leagues is, and why the community waits for it

Leagues is RuneScape's seasonal mode: you start with a fresh character in a sped-up version of Gielinor, complete tasks and rack up league points you spend on relics. This edition is called Equilibrium and takes its cue from Guthix, the God of Balance, so the fantasy is building a balanced character… or deliberately tipping that balance over. It isn't permanent content: it's a race against the clock, and that urgency is exactly what gets the community so fired up.

The first five relics

Each relic rewrites a slice of the game. Endless Harvest routes everything you gather —archaeology, farming, fishing, mining and woodcutting— straight to the bank with a chance to upgrade its tier, and pins mining stamina at 100%. Survivalist adds a bag for logs, fish and ore alongside the highest-tier tools, doubles your resource yields and grants a 50% chance to restore artefacts instantly.

Golden Touch laces up the Goldenhawk Boots: agility XP while you do other things, zero fails on agility courses and thieving attempts, and it triples thieving loot already marked as noted. Crystal Grace hands over Seren's Tiara, which works as a universal runecrafting altar with teleports, unlocks every spell and triples rune output. And Superheated burns logs and cooks fish with no level requirement, doubles the bars you get from smelting ore and drops invention materials whenever you smith.

Daily reveals all the way to launch

This is just the first tier: Jagex promised daily reveals —more relics, blessings and rewards— from now until launch, collecting them all on the official reveal blog. If Leagues hooked you in past years, you already know how this goes: half the community mapping out the optimal route before the season even opens on August 10th.

The season opens August 10th, with fresh reveals every day until then.
