Warframe reveals its August lineup: Dog Days returns and Amir's Nightwave arrives

Digital Extremes has laid out Warframe's August calendar, and it's a busy month: the summer staple Dog Days makes its return, a new Nightwave signal kicks off with Amir at the helm, and a narrative mini-adventure set in Warframe: 1999 joins the mix. It all lands between August 4 and August 12, so it's worth keeping the calendar handy.

The summer centerpiece returns on August 4. Dog Days is that beachside water-gun free-for-all that's become a tradition, and it packs continuous Event Alerts, weekly Floaty of Fury Alerts and Affinity Booster weekends. The reward pool mixes returning favorites with new drops like the Daybreak Dax Syandana and the event's community glyphs.

On August 12, The Hex's hacker grabs the mic with Nightwave Mix: Amir's Shockwave. The new season of the pirate broadcast arrives loaded with 1999-themed rewards, including the Globakk Syandana, the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia and the Teisatz Oculus.

Also on the 12th, Fables & Frontiers: Running Late opens up — a small-scale KIM narrative adventure where Amir himself guides you through a version of the Fables & Frontiers tabletop game that debuted in Warframe: 1999. Clearing it hands out rewards like the Atomicycle Key Sugatra and event-exclusive glyphs.

The same day brings TennoGen: Fables & Frontiers, a batch of community-made customizations with skins like Kullervo Ascophilia, the Haemadys Mask and the Oraxia Agamva Helmet. And the band On-lyne is back with "Running Late", a new track from composers Keith Power and Matthew Chalmers that you'll be able to unlock in-game as a Somachord via the Fables & Frontiers: Running Late vendor (Amir).

With most of the action landing on August 12, it's a good month to drop back into the Origin System. Digital Extremes noted that details on where to stream "Running Late" outside the game will follow in the coming days.
