Warframe Hits the Beach Again: Dog Days 2026 Brings Water Guns and New Rewards

Dog Days, Warframe's annual summer bash, returns on August 4 with the same formula as always: no mods, no abilities, no companions. Just you, a water gun and the other team across the arena. It's the one time of year when the thousand-hour veteran and the Tenno who started yesterday play on genuinely equal footing, and this edition arrives with new rewards, a few gameplay tweaks and special alerts spread across the whole month.

The entry bar is low: finish Vor's Prize and unlock Cetus. Once that's done, the Dog Days missions show up under the Event tab in Navigation and drop you into a tropical arena that shifts from day to night as you play.

Inside, your arsenal counts for nothing: it's a water-munitions-only zone, with no mods, no buffs (neither Invigorations nor Archon shards), no companions and no abilities. The team that soaks the other one the most —Tenno versus Grineer— before the timer runs out takes it. Grab your Soaktron and that's the whole loadout.

The event currency is Nakak Pearls, earned by taking part and traded in with Nakak on Cetus for the seaside loot. On top of that there are three new things: the Daybreak Domestik Drone, which lands in your inbox just for logging in during the event; a set of Daybreak skins for the Magistar, Bubonico and Kompressa, plus the Daybreak Dax Syandana and the Daybreak Sugatra; and a summer-themed Honoria.

The Community Glyphs —designed this year by artist @SpaceWaifuart— come from the four Main Event Alerts: the Kela De Thaym glyph with 25 pearls, Rusalka with 50, Erra with 75 and, as a bonus, Executioner Garesh with 100 pearls plus 2 per kill. Each alert also pays out 50K credits. One detail worth keeping in mind: replaying the fourth mission still earns pearls for every enemy you soak and, new this year, for assists too.

Outside the arena, the Floaty of Fury Alerts rotate across the Star Chart paying 175 Nakak Pearls and 50K credits each: Defense on Uranus from August 6-10, Exterminate on Venus from the 13th to the 17th, Interception on Jupiter from the 20th to the 24th, Survival on Sedna from the 27th to the 31st, and Sabotage on Pluto from September 3-7. Double Affinity Weekends run alongside them, which makes this a comfortable window to level all that gear you've been putting off.

The tweaks are small but you feel them. The Floaty of Fury Alerts now override your melee loadout with the Noodletron and lock you out of your primary and secondary weapons; in exchange, you get increased melee speed. And the Soaktron picked up more projectile velocity, meaning you can now drench opponents from considerably farther away. There's also a Community Captura Contest on the way, with rules and details still to be announced.

Let's be honest: Dog Days is the same event that comes back every summer and nobody is going to find a revolution here. But it remains one of the few things in Warframe where your build doesn't matter, progression carries no weight and everyone walks in level — and in a game with over a decade of accumulated power creep, that counts for something. The reward window stays open into early September.
