Amir takes the mic: Warframe's Amir's Shockwave Nightwave is live

The new Nightwave mix went live with the Globakk Syandana, the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia and the Teisatz Oculus. Alongside it comes Fables & Frontiers: Running Late, a six-day mini adventure that stays in the KIM system for good.
Amir's Shockwave is up and running in Warframe. Digital Extremes flipped the switch on the new mix on August 12, with Amir, The Hex's resident hacker, taking Nora Night's spot behind the mic and a reward list dressed in Warframe: 1999 style, exactly as the studio laid out in late July.
The mix hands out fresh cosmetics tier by tier: the Globakk Syandana, the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia and the Teisatz Oculus, among others, in exchange for clearing daily, weekly and elite acts in Nightwave. The studio hasn't given an end date. This is stop number two on August's schedule, which opened with Dog Days.
Separate from the mix comes Fables & Frontiers: Running Late, a six-day narrative mini adventure inside the KIM system. Amir runs the table in this bite-sized version of the tabletop game that exists within the Warframe: 1999 setting.
The entry bar is real: you need to have finished The Hex Quest's finale, hit Rank 5 with The Hex Syndicate, and reach "Close" KIM Chemistry (Rank 5) with Amir himself. Miss one of the three and it stays locked.
Its rewards (the Atomicycle Key Sugatra, glyphs for each member of The Hex, and several returning items from Nora's Mix Vol. 8) are redeemed from Amir by ringing the bell in a new area of the Höllvania Central Mall, paid for in Hex Standing. Running Late isn't tied to the mix: it stays in the KIM system permanently.
