Once Human Is Live on PS5 and Xbox, With First-Person View and Full Crossplay

NetEase and Starry Studio's survival game opened its console servers: free on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-progression, a first-person camera and console-only servers alongside the cross-platform ones.
Once Human is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, free to play and with full crossplay and cross-progression from day one. NetEase and Starry Studio's survival game opened its servers on August 25, following the region-by-region schedule the studio had published days earlier.
The console-specific addition is the first-person camera, which you can swap with the third-person view at any time. There are two graphics modes, Quality at 4K and 60 fps or Performance at 120 fps, and the controller reacts differently depending on the moment: low-frequency rumble for the big monsters, trigger resistance during boss fights.
NetEase puts the launch-day content at over 300 hours, spread across six scenarios. Two kinds of server coexist on console: the cross-platform ones, open to any device, and those tagged Console, restricted to PS5 and Xbox.
The first batch includes Manibus (Novice), the entry-level PvE scenario; Endless Dream, the co-op one; and Prismverse's Clash, the two-faction PvP mode. RaidZone opened with console-only servers in three difficulties (casual, standard and hardcore) in North America and Europe, while every other region starts with the casual tier alone.
As of August 26 the sign-up server calendar changes: openings move to Saturdays or to a bi-monthly cadence depending on the region, with the rules laid out in the official notice.
