Diablo II: Resurrected kicks off Ladder Season 15 on August 21 with Patch 3.3

Blizzard has dated Ladder Season 15 for Diablo II: Resurrected: it starts Friday, August 21 at 5 p.m. PDT, with Patch 3.3 rolling out three days earlier. In Europe the race to level 99 begins in the small hours of August 22, 1 a.m. BST (2 a.m. CEST), and in Asia that same morning.

First the old season has to close. Season 14 ends Monday the 17th at 11 a.m. PDT and its characters move to the non-ladder pool; whatever sits in their shared stash drops into the Withdraw Only tabs. Careful there: anything left over from Season 13 is gone at that exact moment. Season 14 gear can be pulled out at any point during the new season.

The change most likely to show up in an actual farming run sits in Terror Zones and Colossal Ancients. Latent Sunder Charms now need drop level 75 instead of 69, fall less often under Magic Find and, through that route, only on Hell difficulty. In exchange, Heralds at tier 3 and above drop more rare-or-better items, and every Worldstone Shard comes with an extra item alongside it, though the shard itself shows up less often.

On the gear side, items that used to be Ladder-only move to Non-Ladder, and a handful of reworks arrive that exist only in Ladder and only in Reign of the Warlock: Bloodletter gains 20% Faster Run/Walk, Bane Ash trades attack speed and enhanced damage for 20% Faster Cast Rate, Blinkbat's Form goes from 10% to 30% FRW, and the full Angelic set now grants +1 to All Skills.
