Ereb has a launch window: Grand Chase Classic adds him on August 12 with Season 2

The August 12 maintenance adds Ereb and kicks off Land of Judgment Season 2, with three-week seasons, a reworked Harkion, the new Chaser Pass and progression buffs through the end of the month.

Grand Chase Classic servers go down on Wednesday, August 12 from 03:00 to 08:00 UTC, and Ereb will be there when they come back. KOG is hitting the date it set when it introduced the shield-based character, after laying out his full skill tree last week. The patch, though, carries far more than one new name on the character select screen.

The restart also starts Land of Judgment Season 2, now on a fixed calendar: three weeks of season followed by a six-week off-season. Season score pays out in tiers, from awakening stones just for showing up to the Shockion emote at 6,000,000 points, and the top 100 earns a commemorative icon that sits in the lobby until the next season begins.

The boss changed as much as the format. Harkion hits harder on several patterns, phases 1 through 3 are shorter, phase 4 runs longer and there is a brand-new final phase. The pattern where orbs rose and exploded at random has been simplified, and the targeted explosions no longer all converge on a single spot.

The Chaser Pass debuts too, with a free track and a 20,000 VP premium one that levels through daily, weekly and seasonal missions, plus a shop of its own for cosmetics. On the quality-of-life side comes the Adventure Planner: a list of daily and weekly content with your participation status, up to 6 favorites, and a warning on the exit screen if you still have runs or rewards left unclaimed.

To back the debut there is a daily login run through September 23 and three buff windows with +30% EXP and GP, +15% dungeon drop rate and +20% reinforcement rate: August 14-18, 21-24 and 28-31. Zero players have homework of their own: Violent Death gets rebalanced, with Jump Attack losing 17.07% damage and Double Attack gaining 14.53%. The full rundown is in the maintenance notes.
