Snezhnaya arrives August 12, with in-game rewards for Crunchyroll members in Latin America

Snezhnaya, Teyvat's seventh nation, opens on August 12 with Genshin Impact version 7.0, and HoYoverse is marking the launch with a promo run alongside Crunchyroll. What makes it worth a look from this side of the map is the coverage: the United States, Canada and Latin America, with Cuba excluded.

Any eligible member can claim a bundle of 40 Primogems, 3 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 3 Hero's Wit and 20,000 Mora. Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscriptions add the Neo Terminal: Floating Leaf Model gadget, which the announcement describes as its first appearance on the America server and exclusive to members while the campaign runs.

The window runs from August 12 at 9:00 a.m. PT to September 22 at 8:59 a.m. PT. Read the fine print: free trials don't qualify, you need Adventure Rank 2, and the codes only work on the America server. You request one from the collaboration page and the items land in your in-game mail.

And then there's the reason for all of it. Version 7.0, titled Everwinter Without Mercy, adds the frozen region, a third-person shooter mode and the Stellar Swirl reaction. Odette, Snezhnaya's first limited five-star (Cryo, sword), and Alyosha (Electro, polearm) debut in the first half of the patch, alongside an Arlecchino rerun.
