Honkai: Star Rail 4.5 lands on August 26, with Zenless Zone Zero next in line

HoYoverse has dated version 4.5 of Honkai: Star Rail: To Roll the Stars in Astropolis arrives August 26 on PC, PS5, iOS and Android. The August 14 special program laid out the content and closed with a Zenless Zone Zero crossover announcement.

The bulk of the patch is three new areas: Astropolis, Lodestar Tower and Skycall Aery. The story resumes right after the Express crew beats Lord Ravager Asat Pramad, only for the Voracity to show up and drop Planarcadia into another crisis.

Two five-star characters join, both alternate takes on familiar faces: Robin • Summeretto (Remembrance, Wind) and Aventurine • Waveflair (Elation, Quantum). Hyacine and Ashveil split the banners across the version's first and second halves.

The headline event, Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix, hands you a racing crew to run as team principal. Alongside it come the Minuscule Great Adventure stage event, a Divergent Universe refresh, and the returning Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange double-drop windows.

Details on the Zenless Zone Zero crossover are much thinner. HoYoverse placed it in winter 2026 and said characters from that world will join the trailblazing trip, without naming any of them or saying how many.
