Lumielle joins Vindictus with a spirit bow, and the patch cuts aggro across the roster

Version 3.39 adds Lumielle, the 28th hero, cuts the aggro value of some twenty skills, and swaps the old screenshot mode for a full Photo Mode with post-processing.

Vindictus added Lumielle in version 3.39, live since August 18. She is the game's 28th hero: a half-elf ranger who arrives in Colhen carrying an old promise and fights with the Arc, a light bow built around fast movement.

Lumielle alternates Arc shots with spirit-backed melee strikes.

The hook is that she works at both ranges. Attacking and dodging fills her Communion gauge; once it is full she enters Communion state and certain attacks hit far harder. Vivid Chase, a forward lunge that opens up after specific skills, chains into combos and shortens the cooldown on Mirage's Edge.

Her exclusive skills include Wisp Festival, which summons a spirit that fires arrows at the nearest enemy on its own, and Grand Arc, a fully drawn shot that spikes the Communion gauge. Her personal gear, the Sylvan Spring and Brilliant Blossom sets, is crafted through Tailoring; the Arc itself through Goldsmithing. Her full kit and backstory are in the official character introduction.

Wisp Festival: the summoned wisp keeps tracking its target even as it moves.

The patch also changes something you feel in a party. Around twenty skills with heavy cooldown or SP costs had their aggro value cut by 20% to 79%, from Grimden's Million Daggers to Charon's Singularity. The team used the animation-frame-to-aggro ratio of Lann's Active: Fury No. 7 as its baseline and trimmed whatever sat well above it. Damage on those skills is untouched.

Outside combat, Photo Mode replaces the old screenshot mode: camera tilt, field of view, framing, emotes and saveable presets, with its own folder for the output. The options window was rebuilt from scratch and brought post-processing with up to 9 presets shareable via codes, 21:9 and 32:9 support, and a frame cap tied to your monitor's actual refresh rate.

The team flagged one open problem: with MXAO enabled, leaves, walls and effects render badly on several maps, and they recommend turning off the high-quality calculation until there is a fix. The full change list is in the version 3.39 patch notes, which also raise Hero's Leap uses to 2 per account and hand out one extra character slot.
