Wuthering Waves 3.6 rolls out its events: co-op, exploration, and two main quests

Version 3.6 of Wuthering Waves now has its full schedule out. We covered the patch itself when the Xuanyuan Domain opened; what was missing was the list of things to actually do in it: two new main quests and half a dozen events.

The story moves in two chunks. One is Chapter IV Act III, "Song of the Heart Sword"; the other is an interlude, Chapter IV Segue, "The Nethermancer's Requiem". Both continue the Chapter IV arc the game has been handing out in pieces for several versions now.

Among the events, the one that matters most if you play with other people is If Dreams Still Reverberate, a co-op combat event. The rest split into Resonance Sim Realm (combat), Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception (a leisure event out in the open world), The Strings Remember and Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda (exploration), plus the seven-day login Gifts of Drifting Mist.

The characters are staggered: Qingxiao and her weapon Glint of Clouds in the version's first phase, Jingran and Thousandfold Deliverance in the second. Phase dates go up in the patch's official notes.

The least flashy change is the one that will get the most use. The Echo recommendation system now suggests builds and stats straight from the equipment preview, so gearing a character no longer means keeping a guide open on a second screen.
